Richie T Steadman

About

Richie began his lifelong pursuit of performing by entertaining his elementary school classmates with old Dr. Demento tapes.  Little did he know that would lead him to his radio career at Southern Utah University (SUU) after convincing a professor to let him into an already full radio class. After leaving SUU, he moved to Salt Lake City where he started in radio professionally producing Radio From Hell (morning show), at KXRK, X96, where he remained for 14 years.

He is currently the co-host and producer of The Lisa Show on SiriusXM Channel 143 and 107.9FM in Salt Lake City. Over his radio career, events he has planned have been featured in Rolling Stone, and he has won both Gold and Silver Awards from the Utah Broadcasters Association.

Richie added to his radio accomplishments by creating a weekly podcast called “The Cultural Hall.” It has had over three-and-a-half million downloads and is consistently listed in Sticher’s top 100 religious podcasts, and was given a City Weekly award “Best of Local Podcasts.”

For over 10 years Richie has lent his interpersonal skills and love of music to the Mobile DJ industry, emceeing and DJing events along the Wasatch Front as well as Arizona, Washington, Colorado, and Louisiana.

Richie can also be seen regularly at the Desert Star Theatre, a musical melodrama playhouse, where he began in 2001 and has been in over 50+ productions.

Richie loves people. He loves making them smile, laugh, and forget about the pains or worries of their life.

On the radio, stage, or in your earholes, Richie works hard to make sure that you enjoy your time together. He gives his best and expects the same from everyone he works with.
